How to Clean a Memory Foam Mattress
A conservative cleaning routine that avoids soaking or damaging foam.
Memory foam should generally be kept as dry as possible because deep moisture is difficult to remove from dense foam.
Routine care
Vacuum the surface gently, wash removable covers according to their care label, and use a washable protector to reduce future staining.
Spot cleaning
Use a small amount of mild cleaning solution on a cloth rather than saturating the foam. Blot instead of scrubbing aggressively.
Dry completely
Allow generous airflow and do not remake the bed until the cleaned area is fully dry. Follow the manufacturer's care instructions first.
